Guild Policies

General Policies

At our core, Warcraft is guild that is focused on playing with other equally talented and dedicated players who are focused on clearing content at a consistent and regular pace. We love raiding and competing with each other to see who’s the BEST! We expect everyone to come to raid fully prepped with consumables and looking to stand out.

Friendly competition is always encouraged, but we draw a bold line between friendly competition and unwelcomed behavior. We respect everyone’s time and don’t tolerate unprofessional behavior. Drunkin play, flying off the handle and general shitiness will not be tolerated and will result in being dropped from raid.

Raid Times

Warcraft-Atiesh raids on the following nights:

Tuesday / 6:30pm-9:30pm PST (server)

Thursday / 6:30pm-9:30pm PST (server)

We plan to finish most current content in one night (Thursday) which gives us Sunday to use for optional guild progression on content such as PvP or other group activities.

Loot

Warcraft follows a loot council system, which is lead by each individual class leads/officers. The loot council adheres to a priority spreadsheet, which is predetermined with input by class leads and input they have received from core raiders. The priority spreadsheet is meant to provide complete transparency to the guild on how items will be prioritized. Items will be prioritized in the following order: Class - Specialization - Performance. If an item is an upgrade but is not BIS for you, you will not be eligible to receive it until all eligible raiders have received it first. Performance will take multiple factors into consideration, including attendance, raid time performance and dedication to coming to raid fully buffed and ready to ROCK! Officers/Class

Leads will be paying close attention to each players individual performance each raid night and will be logging it regularly to create a database of information to inform their decisions. We will do our best to distribute loot in an even and fair manner with guild progression as our sole focus. Raiders will be eligible for one upgrade per night, until every raider in your class/spec has already received an upgrade.

If you'd like to see some examples of the pros and cons of a loot council system, check out the video posted here:

In order for the system to work, every member in the raid needs to download the RCLootCouncil mod which you can find here:

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/rclootcouncil-classic

Here is a video demonstration of how the mod works and how it will be used for our raid:

The roll priorities for our raid will be as follows:

BIS > Major Upgrade > Minor Upgrade > Offspec > PvP > Pass

  • BIS: You use this option when you know the item is best in slot for you throughout all the current content.

  • Major Upgrade: Not the BIS item for your slot but a huge upgrade from what you are currently wearing.

  • Minor Upgrade: As it says, not near BIS, but still a minor upgrade from what you have. You roll in case nobody wants it yet it would still help your raid performance even slightly.

  • Offspec: You plan on using the item for a spec that you currently are not maining.

  • PvP: This roll is strictly for PvP use only!

  • Pass: You have no interest in this item and it doesn't benefit you in any way.

If you have any questions about any of our policies, please contact an officer in game or fill out a form on our contact page here. Thank you!

Raid Mod Requirements

In order for our raid to run as smooth as possible, the following mods are required for raiding with <Warcraft-Atiesh>.

  • RCLootCouncil Classic (make sure it's the classic version)

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/rclootcouncil-classic

  • Details Threat Meters (part of Details Damage Meters)

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/details

  • ERT (Exorsus Raid Tools)

Guild management tools (allows raid leaders to do things like check raid durability, gear (missing enchants, etc), cooldown monitoring like battle rez to know who has it up, easy whisper invites, and much more!)

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/exorsus-raid-tools/files/2818904

  • Any advanced raid unit frame (specifically for healers)

Specifically that show incoming heals (healcomms) (ideal for all healers to use). A good example of one would be Shadowed Unit Frames

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/shadowed-unit-frames

(I can send over a template of my layout which you can adjust as needed)
