We have an epidemic in the Pokemon Community

Sorry if this article comes out harsh or too judgmental, but this community frustrates me so much. I've been so lucky to find such stable and understanding friends, through Pokemon Go, that can share similar views. As most people know, there's a bit of an epidemic going on between a large part of the Pokemon Go community and pretty much anyone that went to the Pikachu Outbreak Event in Yokohama, Japan, including many Pokemon Go YouTubers like Mystic7, Trainertips, etc. There's been floods of cringing comments and my eyes have never rolled so far behind my head before. Here are a few that were the most common:

Okay so... why is it that we get this jealous over someone's advantage or success or luck or privilege or whatever you want to call it. Why can't we just be happy for people anymore? Why are we feeling so entitled all the time?

It's comments like this that confirm to me that these viewers are most likely 14 year olds that feel that "power" you feel when you're behind a computer screen and don't have to deal with the repercussions of acting this way face to face with someone. Because I'm telling you right now, adults don't act like this. At least adults that are stable.
I often entertain myself by clicking these profiles to see what else they've commented on or maybe get a glimpse of what kind of people they are and 100% of the time they are leaving filth comments on tons of other videos, spreading their plague all over Youtube or they are around 14 years old (sorry for stereotyping! Not all 14 year olds are like that! Thank goodness).... But it starts to become clear to me after a while.

*Facepalm* ..... And lemme guess what you're going to say if you don't end up finding one in the wild (because of how rare it should be), but your friends end up getting one. Maybe we should just make them super common spawns? Is that what you were going to suggest?
Believe it or not, people are fighting to get 100% catch rates outside of Yokohama as well....
Holy crap, I'm begging that we aren't just handed everything this easily, please Niantic don't listen to these nuts!
I just don't get it, what should these YouTubers do if Niantic asks them to go to an event to cover it for their subscribers (AKA us)? Just say "no thanks" and carry on, catching geodudes in their hometown? Like seriously people why can't anyone just be HAPPY for someone instead of wishing it was them reaping the benefits instead? I don't know why I'm so thrown back by how many selfish and jealous people there are in this world and why am I just noticing this now? I blame the damn YouTube comments.
It's frustrating to see all this negativity over something that we should be getting excited over. No. Instead, these YouTubers become "sellouts" or "privileged", as if being privileged automatically cancels all your opinions and thoughts on the matter. All of a sudden your word means nothing. Absolutely mind-boggling.
Nick (TrainerTips) video did come off a bit harsh and maybe insensitive but man, he stole most everything out of my mouth and his video made way too much sense. It's a rude awakening for all the little whiners that watch his channel and it's something we really needed to hear.
He's even recognized that the game isn't as fun for rural players, he's pointed out the obvious to us and explained that it just is the way it is, at least for now. Pokemon Go is not the only thing that isn't fair all the time, life isn't always fair either! And this was his main message in the video.
Yep. Life is not ALWAYS fair. Get over it.
And for all the people "threatening" to unsub, please. Just do it. Nobody is going to miss you, I promise. I guarantee you'll be back to watch his videos either way.
Listen, I didn't go to Japan, I didn't get a "free" Mewtwo (although honestly it was not free for anyone there), I didn't spend all this money or create hours upon hours of Pokemon videos to earn the right for a trip out there, and guess what? I'm okay with that. I'm not in any position to complain about it because what advantage do these YouTubers get for spending all the money they spent to get there or all the hours they put into their videos for us? ONE Mewtwo (that probably doesn't even have good IVs)? Mewtwo is coming to us guys. And we'll have an equal opportunity to get him (even people in rural areas with only a few gyms).
I know this article comes off as a little unorthodox or unprofessional but I just can't help it sometimes. I'm speaking from the heart and maybe from frustration as well (forgive me), but it blows my mind how people act that I don't know whether or not I should brush it aside, considering most of the commenters are little kids, or just open my mouth and take a stand against this ridiculousness.
Negative or not, I would love to hear your comments on the matter. Feel free to leave them below. No matter how ridiculous they are, I promise I won't delete them :P
