UNICORNINK PRESENTS
PRESTIGE BOSSES
Prestige bosses are available during events as a side boss and another option used to farm second evo material aside from running Lost Temple.
Players will have a specific amount of hours to kill the boss once engaged (sort of like the bosses in Lost Temple). There are a wide variety of different bosses with different elements, which are randomly assigned to each engagement. In order to activate the prestige boss, you must defeat the Event Boss a certain amount of times first in order to activate it. Once the prestige boss dies, you have to kill the event boss several times again to activate it another time for a max of 3 times (for a 4 day event) and 5-6 times (for a 10 day event). So depending on how long the event is, you can only activate this boss a handful of times before he tells you that you've killed him enough times for this event.
There are three types of engages made on this boss:
-
The first one you are able to do is for a Super Crystal (used to second evolve Super rarity monsters). That usually requires 2 energy per round with a 2 minute cooldown.
-
The second is for an Ultra Crystal (used to second evolve Ultra rarity monsters). That normally requires 3 energy per round with a 5 minute cooldown.
-
The final is for an Epic Crystal (used to second evolve Epic rarity monsters). This can only be obtained through this final prestige boss, the final boss in Lost Temple or getting top ranking in events. This nromally requires 4 energy per round with a 10 minute cooldown.

General Tips:
-
Actives like burst also reduce the boss's ability bar. So when that active is set on autocast, it can really save your butt when you don't have the correct gems to lower the boss's ability bar.
-
If you are using one monster's active to keep the boss's ability bar lowered, be sure to have it at the end (all the way to the right) of your team so it is always the last one to hit.
Type: Fire
Moves: Stun, Leech
TIPS: Simple boss. This boss stuns in the same turn as swap activates
So make sure to get a water hit in the turn before your able to swap, in order to keep the bar down.

Type: Fire
Moves: Invincible, Stun, Leech
TIPS: Pretty easy boss, just keep the meter down so he doesn't use an ability. If his ability bar fills up once, and he does invincible first, try to do quick dummy moves to remove the invincible as fast as you can. If he manages to get stun off the second time his bar fills up, you can still do dummy moves to eliminate the rest of invinsible and hit him hard. Just be sure to heal if you need to.

Type: Fire
Moves: Stun, Invincible
80%: Debuff (50% damage reduction)
TIPS: One strategy to use with a single water mob is to do super quick combos in the beginning while using water every few turns to keep the boss's ability bar down. Do this until his stun goes off. Once that happens the ability bar will be most likely fill so invincible will go off (THAT'S OKAY THOUGH!). He doesn't hit too hard in the beginning phases so when invincible does go off, just do quick moves (*without actually doing combos*) until invincible falls off of him. At that time, you should be able to use your swap ability then UNLOAD! (If swap is not up yet and you need one more move to be able to activate it, use a water gem combo to keep the bar down, then use it and unload).

Another good strategy (with full mono water team) is to try to speed combo until two turns before your swap. and on that turn, use water gems to keep ability bar down. Then when he stuns, just move one gem to get rid of it. Then unload.
